We've just had the 12th anniversary. It is true that it is easier as time passes but I still miss Martin. My friends are all having grandchildren and it is hard to not feel jealous. Then I see the news about war, disease, drought and think that maybe we are lucky. We don't have any immediate family who will be affected by these things.
7th July was the anniversary but just 16 days before that he would have been 30 years old. I could not even imagine what he would have been like! That was upsetting. I did however get a lovely card and flowers from his 3 best friends and seeing how they have all grown up to be such lovely young men, I know that Martin would have also been a lovely young man. I love you very much Martin.
