A new Story

Martin died in the water, a place that he loved. He was usually wet, or muddy or both when he was growing up as he loved the Scouts and had great times there, canoeing with friends until he developed epilepsy. This put a stop to the canoeing, but not his love of the water. We were on holiday in Corfu when he died, and he went straight in for a swim. It did not seem odd when we were told that he had drowned, after all he was swimming. The shock came 10 days later at the post-mortem back in England when we were told that he had not drowned, but had died of SUDEP.
